In 1960 Forrest, Jr. supervises operations at the Federal Building in New Orleans, La.
About Us
Forrest, Jr. took his first assignment in 1959 a the hourly rate of $1.25 per hour. His post was located across the Mississippi River in Avondale. Forrest, Jr. would walk across the Huey P. Long Bridge in order to protect the client's interest. Public transportation did not cross the bridge in those days...
Security becomes a family endeavor:
Joan Travirca joins with her husband, Forrest, Jr. in the early 60's as they devote their careers to protecting the interest of their clients.
Joan Travirca enters the security field in 1960.
Joan stays with it until her retirement in 1994.
The year is 1993 - Joan is still working by her husband's side:
Joan continued to work along side her husband, Forrest, Jr. until their retirement in 1994.
The Client's interest first:
In the early years security company changes were common place. Forrest, Jr. always remained on the job, protecting the client's interest as the security company changed.
